BioI'm a geek. Flat-out, I'm gonna say it. Not so bad as my sister, maybe, but I'm pretty geeky. I read and watch sci-fi for funsies. Me favorite shows are sci-fi. I go to anime conventions. I draw fanart of anime. I wear an Otakon bracelet, and I've never even been to Otakon. So yeah, I'm a geek.
But, I am very multi-faceted geek. I'm also a theatre geek/nerd/freak. We come with many different nametags. I'm head of the costumes department at my school, and I try to be humble, but I am damn good at it too. I love to act and sing, and the Blackbox is my second home, which tells me I spend way too much time there, but no one complains.
I'm also a bit of a writing geek. I spend thirty days writing a fifty-thousand word novel every year. Well, this'll be the second year, but I'm planning on making a habit out of it. I'm writing a One Act Play, arcing back into the theatre subject. I like writing fanfic, as well as writing fic about sporking bad fanfic. PPC for the win. Done? Good. Wonderful, aren't they? I'm soon to be joining the ranks. Anyway, back on topic. Writing. It's much fun, and I've been told I'm pretty decent at it, so I keep doing it. I also like to RP. Text-based, not World of Warcraft avatars-with-mage-powers-on-servers RPG. I'm not that much of a geek. Yet.
I'm trying to make this interesting here. Can you tell? Anyway, the LJ is here because I knew I was going to get roped into one eventually by a friend of mine for various reasons (among and including for an RP), so I hopped on to get one myself. It feels slightly more dignified that way. So, that's me, there's my rant, please, follow the exit signs until fresh air is reached. It can't be that far.
